Levi Methvin, Jr.
The youngest child of Levi Methvin and his second wife, Anna Massengale Methvin, Levi Jr., was born about 1827 in Madison County, Alabama. He married Tiney (Zina) Catherine Wright on October 18, 1853. They followed Levi Jr.'s oldest brother James S. Methvin to Fannin County, Texas, where Levi was a schoolteacher. Levi apparently died prior to the end of the Civil War, because Zina married 2nd W.A. Chaffin on November 16, 1865. They had no children as of 1860, except a young girl, S.C. Hayes was living with them.
